Why upgrade your day and night lights? An investment in safety

Replacing your car's standard lights is one of the most effective upgrades you can make. You get a lot of light for your money and improve your safety and the safety of others on the road. Modern LED and Xenon lamps provide a much brighter and longer light output. You'll see the road, road signs and potential hazards like crazy much sooner.

Drive more safely in the dark: A daylight-like white light (around 5500-6500K) reduces eye strain and makes you less tired when driving at night.

Sustainability that pays off: An LED lamp has a burn time that is thousands of hours longer than a traditional halogen lamp. This means fewer replacements and a more hassle-free experience.

Modernise your car: Give your car an instant boost with the pure white glow of LED or the characteristic and intense light of Xenon.

What suits you? LED vs. Xenon vs. Halogen

The choice of technology is crucial to the outcome you get. Based on our long experience, we help you understand the differences so you can make an informed choice.

LED lights: the modern and efficient choice

LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) are the most popular choice for upgrades today. A diode creates light with minimal heat generation, giving an incredible lifespan (often 10 000-30 000 hours).

Advantages: Instant full brightness, extremely long life, energy efficient, impact resistant and provides a crisp, white light.

Suitable for those who: Want a 'fit and forget' solution with maximum performance, instant response and a modern look. Perfect for both full and low beam.

Xenon lamps (HID): Maximum light intensity

Xenon light, or HID (High-Intensity Discharge), is created when an arc is ignited in a discharge chamber filled with the noble gas Xenon. This requires a ballast to start and power the lamp.

Advantages: Provides an extremely powerful and intense light output (around 3200 lumens is standard). Many people appreciate the "luxurious" glow often associated with premium cars.

Disadvantages: Has a short ignition time (a few seconds to full power) and a shorter lifetime than LED (about 2000-3000 hours).

Suitable for those who: Prioritises maximum light output and seeks that classic, intense Xenon light, particularly effective as a high beam.

Halogen lamps: the proven standard

The halogen lamp is a further development of the traditional incandescent lamp, filled with halogen gas to increase life and performance.

Advantages: Low purchase price and proven technology. Halogen lamps you find with us can provide up to 30% better light than a standard lamp.

Disadvantages: Shortest lifespan, draws the most power and produces a yellower, dimmer light compared to LED and Xenon.

Suitable for those who: Looking for the most cost-effective option to replace a broken lamp without making a major upgrade.

Avoid the most common mistakes

Changing lights is usually easy, but modern car technology can create challenges. Based on thousands of customer questions, we have gathered the key points for a successful installation.

Find the right socket (H1, H4, D1S etc.)

The first step is to know which lamp your car has. The wrong lamp is the most common reason for returns. To be 100% sure:

Problems with flicker? The solution is CANBUS!

One of the most common questions we get is: "My new LED lights flicker or switch off after a while, what's wrong?". This is almost always due to the car's light monitoring system (CANbus). The system thinks the bulb is broken because an LED bulb draws less power. The solution is to fit a CANbus adapter (also known as a power resistor) which ensures that the lamp has a stable power supply.

Correct light image is crucial

A good dipped beam should provide a sharp and clean cut-off to avoid dazzling oncoming traffic. Our high-quality LED and Xenon lamps are designed to mimic the position of a halogen filament as accurately as possible, ensuring an accurate and safe light pattern in your existing headlamp.
