Noel's EPA with extra lights and LED ramps from Luxtar

On Noel's white Volvo, the lighting is a big part of the build. Five round auxiliary lights in the front are joined by LED ramps, and the lighting details continue along the side. Noel has combined several of Luxtar's series on the same EPA, with Stellar, Twilight, X48 and OptiFlux.

Stellar in the front and LED ramps at different heights

Five round Stellar auxiliary lights are in a row in front of the grille. The photo also shows an LED ramp on the roof and a lower ramp in the front. The combination gives Noel's Volvo a distinctly unique expression.

The build includes Stellar RAD 5, Twilight and Luxtar X48. X48 is a long ramp, so a similar choice requires that both the ramp and its brackets fit in the intended mounting location. Measure before choosing and check that the placement works with the vehicle's other equipment.

OptiFlux along the sides

Luxtar OptiFlux sit along the sides and are part of the lighting details around the car. There are also fire extinguishers and warning lights in the trunk, while the decals on the rear end are part of the build's personal style.

OptiFlux is a warning light. The rules for warning lights limits when the warning function may be used. Also check the permitted use of functions with a fixed light before engaging them.

If you want to do something similar, you can compare the Luxtar alternatives below. Check the current design, fit and permitted use for your vehicle before ordering.

Do you want to build on your own EPA?

Several additional lights and ramps require a power supply that is sized for the entire installation. The connectors, power requirements and control of the lights determine the wiring required. In the guide to wiring for auxiliary lights describes how to check those parts before purchase.

Noel's build provides inspiration for placement. For your own installation, you also need to check the design, approvals and power levels of the lights. Send details about the vehicle, pictures of the mounting locations and which lights you want to use, and we can help you choose parts that work together.
