Below you will see lighting adapted for VW Scirocco Iii 2008 and later. Depending on the version, the Scirocco Iii uses D3S or H7. Here we list the correct choice for each position, together with additional lights and ballast.

Xenon: white to blue-white light that comes on with a short flash and becomes fully bright after a few seconds. The car almost always has headlight washers and automatic level control. The socket starts with D, for example D1S or D3S.
Bi-xenon: xenon which also provides the high beam. The same bulb is used for low and high beam.
Halogen: Yellower light that lights up immediately without delay. The socket starts with H, for example H7 or H4.
Factory LED: bright white light in strips or small modules. Often there is no lamp to replace.
