Car fog lights – LED and halogen in the most common sockets H8, H11, H16, HB4, PSX24W and PSX26W. Fog lights sit low in the front of the car and provide a wide, low beam of light that illuminates the road near the car in fog, rain and snowfall. Upgrade to LED for whiter light and longer life.
Fog lights complement the low beam in poor weather conditions. The low mounting position and wide beam of light means that the fog light illuminates the road surface under the fog instead of being reflected back by the moisture in the air. This provides better visibility close to the car and makes your side lines and road edges clearer.
Changing your fog lights to LED is one of the easiest upgrades you can make. Fog lights are often easily accessible behind a hatch in the wheel arches or under the bumper. The replacement typically takes 15-20 minutes. LED provides a whiter, brighter light that matches better with modern LED low beams. In addition, LED lights draw less power, which reduces the strain on the car's electrical system.
H11/H8/H16 – most common in European and Japanese cars. H11 and H8 have the same socket but different power. H16 is common in Japanese cars and newer European models. HB4/9006 – common in American and Asian cars. PSX24W and PSX26W – special sockets used by, among others, Subaru, Jeep and some European models.
Check which socket your fog lights have before ordering. The information can be found in your car's owner's manual or you can contact us with your car model.
