LED work lights have revolutionized the way we see and work in the dark. Compared to halogen, LED provides dramatically more light per watt, generates less heat, is more vibration resistant, and has a lifespan of tens of thousands of hours. Work light vs work light bar

A work light is a single, compact light that mounts with a bolt or clamp. It offers flexible placement and is the most common choice for machinery and vehicles that need lighting at specific points. A work light bar is a longer light that provides wider coverage and is mounted on the cab roof, front arch or bumper.

Flood, spot or combo?

Flood (wide beam) spreads the light widely and evenly. Best for close-up lighting around the machine – when loading, reversing and working in close proximity. Spotlight (narrow beam) concentrates the light forward with a long range. Best for transportation and work where you need to see far. Combo combines both in the same light and is the most flexible choice.

What does the IP rating (e.g. IP68, IP69K) mean?

The IP rating indicates how well a lamp is protected against dust and water. The first number (6) means that it is completely dustproof. The second number describes the water protection. IP67 can withstand short-term immersion in water. IP68 can withstand continuous immersion. IP69K is the highest rating and means that the lamp can withstand high-pressure washing with hot water, which is a common requirement for construction and agricultural machinery.

How many lumens do I need for my work light?

What does EMC interference suppression (e.g. CISPR25 class 5) mean?

All electronics emit electromagnetic radiation. A poorly shielded work light can interfere with other sensitive equipment, such as a vehicle's radio or GPS. A high EMC rating (such as CISPR25 Class 5) is a guarantee that the light is professionally designed and will not cause such interference, which is a requirement in many professional contexts.
