OSRAM needs no introduction – it is one of the world’s oldest and most respected lighting brands. Their LEDriving series for automotive lighting maintains the same level of quality as the rest of the range. What distinguishes OSRAM ramps is the extremely even light pattern and high color rendering. Where many LED ramps have visible hotspots or dead zones, LEDriving delivers a homogeneous wall of light without unevenness.
The ramps are available in several designs – straight and curved, in sizes from compact models for grill mounting to longer versions for roofs. They use OSRAM's proprietary LED diodes, the same technology used in their OEM lighting for car manufacturers.
Curved or straight OSRAM ramp?
OSRAM LEDriving is available in both straight and curved design. The curved model (LEDriving Lightbar VX) follows the contours of modern car fronts and provides a wider spread of light in the immediate area. The straight model provides a more concentrated light image. Both have combo light patterns that work well in most driving conditions.
Installation
OSRAM LEDriving ramps are mounted with standard bolt-on brackets and require a relay cable set for connection. Compact models fit with license plate bracket. On cars with CANbus we recommend a XBB Dongle for the smoothest installation.
Yes, the OSRAM LEDriving series uses OSRAM's own developed LEDs and optics. It is the same technology and quality control as in their OEM lighting for car manufacturers.
Some models in the series are E-marked. Check the product specification for the specific model you are interested in. E-marked models may be used as additional lights on public roads.
