Canbus reader Inductive Canbus reader

The Non-Contact Reader option allows the CAN Bus interface to read vehicle CAN Bus data without any metallic connection between the interface and the vehicle CAN Bus. The reader is secured around part of the vehicle's CAN Bus wiring and data is read by an induction method, protecting the manufacturer's warranty.

This version of our contactless reader works on 5v and is directly compatible with our CANNECT Interfaces. If you are installing one of our CANNECT products and want to buy a contactless reader to work with it, this is the product for you.
The readers have a strong locking clamp to maintain their position around the CAN cables. The CAN cables must first be straightened a short distance and the HI-LO cables identified and placed in the corresponding channels in the reader before the reader housing can be closed over the wire.

This product is pre-wired with an M8-Highbeam connector, ready to just plug into the M8-Highbeam unit
