Installation – easy and safe

The adapter is mounted between existing connectors in The A-pillar on the passenger side.
It does not affect the car's functions and does not require any modification of the original wiring.

Tip: Leave the OBD2 port at the front of the cabin if you want quick access to diagnostic tools in the future.

Important before installation

To avoid damage to the vehicle's electronics, the car must be completely de-energized when work begins.
Tesla goes into sleep mode after approx. 8–10 minutes – wait for this before disconnecting any contacts.
If you want to be extra safe, you can also disconnect +12V terminal during installation.
