Extra light kit 60W 24V

The ballast HNS-6 has a power of 60W (effective ~57W) and the lamp has matching power range and characteristics.

Provides up to approx. 550% more light compared to 55W halogen. Usually, you also get a much wider and longer light pattern depending on the characteristics of the lamp.

A unique feature of the HNS-6 is that it can operate all xenon lamps, including lead-free (D1/D2/D3/D4). However, specialised cables are required for this and the task is given here to demonstrate the advanced technology of the HNS-5.

Introduced in autumn 2022.
The HNS-6 replaces the manufacturer's outstanding but discontinued HNS-5 24V ballast which has proven its reliability over several years.

Any colour temperature (K = Kelvin):
4300K = 5000±100 lm, standard white

Actual values according to spectroanalysis.
- We recommend 4300K.

If you have an extra light with blue glass, we recommend 4300K, the blue glass then gives a light colour of about 4800K.

Note! Relay cables for standard halogen auxiliary lights are unsuitable for operating xenon lights. Most of the support questions concern this. Therefore, buy one of our customised relay wiring.
If you use your own wiring, use 2.5 mm² cable and fuse with 15A by ballast.
