Xenon bulbs (HID) for cars with original xenon headlights – D1S, D2S, D3S, D4S, D2R, D4R and more. Replacement bulbs from OSRAM and Philips that provide intense, blue-white light with high brightness. If your car was delivered with xenon lights from the factory, you need to change to a xenon bulb with the same socket type.

Xenon lamps, also known as HID (High Intensity Discharge) lamps, generate light through a gas discharge in a capsule filled with xenon gas. The light is an intense blue-white, significantly brighter than halogen and with better color rendering. Xenon was the premium choice for automotive lighting in the 2000s and 2010s and is fitted as original equipment in many cars from that period.
Xenon bulbs come in several socket types. The most common are D1S, D2S, D3S and D4S. The difference between them is the type of ballast they require and if they contain mercury. D1S and D3S have an integrated ignitor. D2S and D4S require an external ignitor. D3S and D4S are mercury-free. Please check which type your car has before ordering.
Xenon lamps gradually lose brightness. A lamp that has been burning for 2000+ hours may have lost 20-30% of its original brightness without you noticing, as the change occurs slowly. Replace lamps in pairs to get an even light pattern – a new lamp next to an old one will make a noticeable difference in color and intensity.
